KOA campgrounds in Arizona

Arizona offers a variety of KOA campgrounds, in a variety of locations. Each of the campgrounds feature unique and activities, and offer a wide array of amenities.

The Benson KOA, located in Benson, Arizona, will allow you to indulge your wildwest fantasies. Set in the high desert valley, just off the I-10, this campground features day trips to Tombstone, where you will enjoy a recreation of the infamous O.K. Corral shootout. You can tour an old copper mine, near the Mexican border, or visit Kartchner Caverns, one of the world’s greatest living caves. At the campground you can relax by the KOA pool, or play 18 holes of golf on the new San Pedro golf course, located nearby. The campground has RV, tent, and cabin sites, ready for you to enjoy. Beautiful shade trees, and fishing in a private 12 acre lake stocked with bass, awaits you at the Yuma KOA. This campground features a clubhouse, all of the amenities, and is a short drive from many historic sites of Yuma. It is located at 6275 S.Avenue 8 1/2 East, in Yuma, AZ.

The Grand Canyon / Williams KOA is temporarily opened only to self-contained RVs, due to damage caused by an unfortunate electrical fire. Cabin and tent camping will be available in late August, or early September. Offering great rates, and touted as being the closest KOA campground to the Grand Canyon, this campground offers level, oversized campsites, with 30 and 50 amp. electic, water and free wireless internet. It also has a dump station. Located at 5333 Highway 64, in Williams, AZ.

Bordering the Coconio National Forest, the Flagstaff KOA is a hub for exploring the Grand Canyon, and lots of other great attractions. You can ride the nearby skyride up 11,500 ft. for an unparallel view of the Grand Canyon area. Located at 5803 N. US Highway 89, and set under the cool shade of Ponderosa pines, you will find tent, RV, and cabin sites.

Black Canyon City KOA, in the Agua Fria National Monument, and surrounded by the Bradshaw Mountains, Black Mesa, and the Tonto National Forest, this great campground offers 70,000 acres of multipurpose trails. Indulge in fossil and gem mining, ice-cream socials, and other great activities. They also offer cable tv, Wi-Fi, 24 hour laundry, and have many extra-long sites available. You can find this great campground at Exit 242, off I-17, in Black Canyon, AZ.
